Fire Drill
Regular fire drills ensure that everyone in the Academy knows precisely what to do and where to go in the event of the fire alarm being sounded.
Security
Security of all students is of paramount importance to the Academy. Therefore we have installed a number of security features. These include:
- All students and staff are issued with a printed identification card; this includes basic details and a photograph. This must be worn around the neck using the holder and lanyard provided.
- The second function of this card is to provide access to restricted areas and the lift. Normally student cards will not perform this function, however if there is a medical need, lift access will be enabled.
- The final function of the card is to provide cashless payment and vending at the Academy.
- Security cameras are fitted in areas around the Academy.
